I think the fair was a big success. We had a lot of people very interested in us for portraits and some for weddings.

2007 – Shasta District Fair In Anderson, CA

Friday, June 1st, 2007We were just notified a week ago by the District Fair’s office that we have been accepted to participate in the District Fair this year. It starts Wednesday, June 13th, and ends on Sunday, June 17th. I hope that everyone will come out and see us.
Castle Crags – Right off I5 30 Minutes North of Redding, CA
Friday, June 1st, 2007On Monday, May 28th, I hiked up to the top of Castle Crags of Shasta County with my good friend Jonathan. It was about 2.75 miles each way and we took a detour to see some natural springs that was about 2/10 of a mile each way. All in all it was 5.9 miles plus whatever hiking around we did at the top. The fact that I’m writing this is more for my sake than for the sake of anyone else. Needless to say, we had a blast and the weather was perfect for it.
Hike To Whiskeytown, just West of Redding, CA
Saturday, April 28th, 2007On Monday I hiked up to Whiskeytown Falls, which is right off Highway 299 and West of I-5. It was almost a two mile hike each way. I had a great time and the weather was perfect. The sun wasn’t hitting the falls like I had hoped for, but still an amazing sight at a 220ft. drop of crashing clear H2O. The hike up was a lot of fun as well.
Kool April Nites 2007 – 18th Annual Car Show – Redding, CA
Wednesday, April 25th, 2007I was at Kool April Nites this past weekend and out of all the photos I took, I like this one the best and I don’t even know why I’m drawn to it–I don’t even like the car all that much. It’s nice, but I’ve seen a lot I liked a lot better. This car show was pretty nice just because of the variety of cars and colorful paint jobs. The city of Redding sets aside a good loop of road just for the show.
