It’s relatively simple to add Google Talk to your Pidgin instant messenger client. The great thing about a multi-platform instant message client is the ability to aggregate Facebook messenger, AOL, MSN, Google Talk, Twitter, etc. all into one client. I personally don’t like using the Facebook chat because I usually have about 50 bazillion tabs open in each Firefox window, and a few windows… but I rabbit trailed a bit because here I’m talking about Google Talk on Pidgin.
